Meet Sapphire, the beautiful peacock!
According to Fire Mountain Gem's website, "Sapphire is said to be the wisdom stone, stimulating concentration, enhancing creativity and promoting purity and depth of thought. It is believed to focus and calm the mind as well as remove unwanted thoughts, depression and mental tension."
Peacocks are said to symbolize kindness, patience, empathy and good fortune. They are truly the most beautiful birds in the world!
I definitely enjoyed painting this one and "seeing" the magnificent colors and beauty!
