The Woman Behind the Crowns

I'm a two-time breast cancer survivor.  During my recurrence, I hugged a cow and something cracked open in me.

I needed my life to mean more.
 
I didn't know how to help animals just yet, so I started painting them.
Crowning them.
Honoring them.
Giving them the dignity and royalty I believe every living soul deserves.

What started as healing became a mission.
I connected with animal sanctuaries across the country, began raffling my original paintings to fundraisers, and watched something extraordinary happen - people showed up.

Over $110,000 raised for animals who are lucky enough to get a second chance.

Today my work lives at the intersection of whimsy, color, and deep belief. 

Every crowned animal I paint is a reminder - for the souls, for fellow survivors, for anyone who has ever felt small or overlooked - that you are royalty.
That joy is not frivolous.
That meaning can be made from the hardest moments.
