This painting began with a flower growing in a dear artist friend’s garden, but somewhere along the way it started to feel like it was about more.
About the friendships we nurture. The people who help us grow. The beauty we notice because someone else stopped long enough to share it with us.
And perhaps it’s no accident that I found myself painting it in all these beautiful pinks — a color that carries its own meaning of hope, strength and survival for so many of us. 🎀
May we keep growing through what we go through — and may we always have people beside us who help us bloom. 💗
