ARTHUR'S ACRES ANIMAL SANCTUARY DOVE
In 2019, Sullivan County launched the Dovetrail in New York's Catskills Region, paying homage to the original 1969 Woodstock Festival while inviting tourists to discover the community.
Local New York artists, drawing inspiration from Peter Max and the Woodstock Festival's spirit, paint doves to this initiative.
This one marks the 62nd dove in the region, dedicated to Arthur's Acres Animal Sanctuary, featuring my design adorned with their motto, 'Peace, Love & Pigs.' The dove showcases heart-shaped pig snouts and my signature heart art.
Arthur's Acres Animal Sanctuary, located in Parksville, NY, provides a loving home to over 40 pigs, chickens, and dogs, radiating compassion and care.
I'm deeply honored to be a part of this historic event, spreading a message of kindness and awareness for the sanctuary.

My art, as my life, is a work in progress, always evolving...
The eternal optimist in me always sees the bright side. My mantra is "No Mud, No Lotus", which is the title of Buddhist teacher, Thich Nhat Hanh's book, that teaches the art of transforming suffering and seeing the beauty.
The key is to recognize joy and find happiness in everyday moments, even when things aren't always the brightest.
That's what I try to do in life and through my art. Most especially with my animal art.
I always want to show the light, hope and love that we can find in everyday moments.
Without the mud, we would never have the beautiful lotus flower.
Without the darkness, we wouldn't know light.
Find the light each day.
I hope you find the light in my art. (Along with lots of color and a side of whimsy!)
