A Good for the Soul Day!
I visited Arthur's Acres Animal Sanctuary again! What a great day surrounded by the happiest and most adorable rescued animals, the most amazing and kind people, all in a magical place!
I gave Morty, the marshmellow piggie, a belly rub! I pet Hans in his little pool. I painted while surrounded by chickens, pigs and dogs. Both Lyle and Candy hung out with me on the table while painting! It was so heartwarming to be surrounded by this calm and loving energy.
And while I was there, I painted a sign for the Arthur's Acres Village Mercantile, the store that is located on the top level of the barn. And I definitely had helpers!
Just look at how peaceful and serene! (my heart!!)
I also painted a Bee House that was auctioned off and raised $2500!!
Craziness!!
It was painted (live) to be auctioned and when Todd, the founder of Arthur's Acres Animal Sanctuary showed it on an Instagram livestream, it spontaneously went up for auction! Now I know a lot of you would donate with our without winning a prize, but thank YOU.
The high bidder won it for $1000!! And then one generous donor matched that donation and another added $500!
After that happened, Todd joked that he would auction off the she shed I hand painted last year for $500,000!! LOL!
So funny!!!
(maybe one day...we never know!!)
